Health Ministries Cooking Class a Major SUCCESS!
On 8/5/2012 approx 3:15pm-4:30pm Health Ministries Cooking Class with Marshall Freitas & family. Approx 80+ community members and 15+ church members attended. All attendees received a Pastor Venden seminar brochure along with recipes. Approximately 10+ Steps to Christ books were distributed. The intent of this class was to announce the upcoming seminar. Deacons and young adults assisted with facility setup and cleanup. Women's Ministry assisted with serving of food. Other church members not associated with any specific ministry also assisted. Joan Harriman and friends brightened the gym with colorful table settings of fruits, herbs, spices and plants. She also was responsible for the prize drawings which were free cooking classes with Marshall for 10 attendees. Seana Waters, Health Ministries Leader opened program with welcome, announcements and prayer. Marshall not only shared his ono cooking with secret tips but also fed souls with health and spiritual messages and shared his harvest with all.
