My name Arlene Hurst my parents are Pat and Aude Bravo. My parents lived in Hilo several years ago and may have attended your church at one time. My mother is considering moving back to Hilo, my concern is she is alone and she expressed that she does not want to be alone. Currently she is living with my sister in Oklahoma. My sisters and I are reaching out to the church community to find a live in companion, maybe someone that is willing to live with her in lieu of rent. She is 85 years young, very healthy and gets around without a walker or aids. She can cook and clean and even garden. She doesn’t drive anymore and would need someone to take her to appointments, shopping and church. Can you post in your church bulletin this need? You can also list my phone number.
