Services Cancelled

Announced by Vernon Medeiros on Oct 16 2014

Aloha Church Family,
As we watch the weather reports on Hurricane Ana, it is not looking good for the Big Island.
After our experience with Iselle. it has been decided to be safe and take precautions.
These things can be so unpredictable we feel it is best to close the church this Sabbath.
The reports are saying the storm will be on the Big Island Sabbath morning and not knowing exactly when and where the worst of it may be we would like to encourage all of our church family to remain at home.  Pray and celebrate the Sabbath with your family in the safety of your homes.
For those of you that need to evacuate your home, the Hilo church, school gym, cafeteria and restrooms will be an available shelter for you and your family.  Contact the Pastor at 756-7143 and arrangements will be made to have the premises available as needed.
It has been reported that ALL schools are going to be closed on Friday.  As many that need to evacuate will need to do that by Friday please call if you need assistance.
May our Lord and Savior protect all.  We will be praying for each one of you.

Most sincerely,

Pastor Vassili Khrapov
Hilo Seventh-day Adventist Church
